When is the Common Written Examination (CWE) for bank clerk recruitment?

A: The Indian Bank's Association launched a scheme on 1 June 2011 for selection of candidates in the public banks. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct a Common Written Examination (CWE) twice a year for initial short listing of personnel in Clerical Cadre, Entry Level Officer Cadre, and Specialist Officer in the 19 participating banks.

The initial notification by IBPS is for the selection of Management Trainees and Probationary Officers in 19 public sector banks. The last date to apply for this examination is 1 August 2011.

Any new notification for Clerk recruitment will be posted in this section as soon as it is advertised by IBPS.
