Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is to be conducted on 4th January 2015. 90,000 aspirants have registered for the examination. The number of registrations make it a very important examination. Approximately 1 lakh 90,000 aspirants registered for CAT exam this year which is the biggest exam for MBA Admissions in India. XAT has been equally important as the colleges under Xavier Association accept only XAT score for admission. Xavier Association includes many prestigious institutes like XIMB, XLRI etc.
More than 100 B-schools will be using XAT 2015 scores for admission this year, but the candidates need to apply separately to XAT member institutions as well. Only sitting for the XAT 2015 exam will not make the entry easy. The scores of the XAT 2015 will be used for admissions to different management programmes offered by the B-schools across the country.
The admit cards for the XAT 2015 exam will be available for downloading between 18th December to 31st December 2014. XAT 2015 willbe conducted on 4th January 2015. XAT 2015 results will be announced by 31st January2015.
The format of XAT 2015 would be pen-paper based like last year. This is to ensure that candidates of all backgrounds are at par, so that those who have pre-familiarity of operating computers, specially coming from privileged background or having worked in IT sector, do not get any advantage over others who do not have access to computers. The paper-pen mode also ensures that all candidates are tested on exactly the same set of questions, and not on different sets.
