XAT 2018: Online Registrations begins; here are major changes
XLRI has opened the online registrations for XAT 2018 exam. Find out the major changes brought out by the institutes in exam duration and pattern.

XAT 2018: The online registration for the XAT 2018 exams has begun. Aspirants can now register for one of the most coveted management entrance exams of India conducted by XLRI on annual basis. XAT exam is scheduled to take place on 7th January 2018 from 10:00AM to 01:35PM. The registration window will remain open for the XAT exam aspirants till 30th November 2017.
Here are a few points to take into consideration before you apply for the XAT exam:
Provision of Late Registration Window
Aspirants shall also remain informed that this year XLRI has also made arrangements for the late registrations. Those Applicants who fail to register for the exam on or before 30 November can pay an additional late registration fee of Rs.350/- over and above Rs. 1650/- (i.e. the application fee). The candidates applying in the Late Registration window will be liable to pay Rs. 2000/- as an application fee. The last date to register for the XAT exam under the late registration window is open till December 11, 2017.
Additional Fee for XLRI Programmes
If you register after November 30, you will have to pay an increased fee of Rs. 500/- instead of Rs.300/-, for the number of XLRI programmes in which you are interested.
Change in the Exam Duration
XLRI has officially announced that the XAT exam aspirants will get 3.5 hours to complete the exam that will be conducted in online format. The institute has broken its legacy of 60 years as the paper based test will be conducted in online mode with the additional time of half hour extra allotted to the XAT exam takers.
XAT 2018: Exam Pattern
With the exam going online from this year, the institute has also increased the duration of the exam for the exam takers. The students will be required to attempt both the sections this year as well. XAT exam comprises of 2 parts: Part I contains 3 sections and Part II contains 2 sections i.e. GK and Essay writing sections.
