A list of 50 most wanted fugitives was released by India on 12 May 2011 hiding in Pakistan. India released this list to put pressure on Pakistan. The list includes the names of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, Hafiz Saeed, Major Iqbal and others.
India released the list in the midst of Pakistan being accused of sheltering al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, who was killed in Abbottabad by a special US force.
The list also includes Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar, the main accused in the 2001 Parliament attack case and dreaded terrorist Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi.
