APTTA: Afghan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement

Afghan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement (APTTA) was signed in the presence of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton between Pakistan and Afghanistan on 18 July 2010. According to the agreement, India cannot export goods to Afghanistan using the Wagah Border (Pakistan land route) but Afghan trucks are permitted to carry export goods to India through the Wagah border. Pakistan will also be able to use Afghan territory for its exports to Central Asian Republics.
