ATP Rankings 2019: Rafael Nadal has once again become the world's number one tennis player in the ATP Rankings 2019. He replaced Novak Djokovic who has slipped to number two. Nadal had previously held the number one position on November 4, 2018.
This is the eighth time when Nadal (33) has reached at the top. He is the second oldest player to hold the number one position in the ATP rankings after 1973. Federer became number one at the age of 36 in 2018. India’s Prajnesh Gunneswaran secured 94th position.

• If Rafael Nadal remains on the top position by the end of the year, he will become the oldest player to hold the number one position.
• Spain's Rafael Nadal became number one for the first time on 18 August 2008 at the age of 22 and remained in the same position for the next 46 weeks.
• He was ranked number one for 56 weeks in 2010–11, 39 weeks in 2013–2014, 26 weeks in 2017–18, six weeks in April – May in 2018, four weeks in May – June and 19 weeks in June – November.
Prajnesh Gunneswaran
• Prajnesh Gunneswaran is an Indian tennis player who won two ATP Challengers and eight ITF titles in singles.
• In latest ATP rankings he secured 94th position while 75th was his highest ATP ranking.
• Prajnesh started the 2018 season as World’s No. 243 but he finished the season on a career-high ranking of 104.
• He has won the bronze medal at 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta.
