With an aim to promote sports in the country, the world's first high-altitude para sports centre will soon be set up in Leh, Ladakh. For this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, and the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF).  

2. (a) Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai

President of India Draupadi Murmu has nominated Supreme Court Judge Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai as the new Acting Chairman of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA). Justice Gavai will replace Chief Justice of India Justice Sanjiv Khanna, who previously held the post. As per the convention of NALSA, the post of Executive Chairperson is held by the second senior-most Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal inaugurated the 43rd edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
