Narendra Modi has created history by taking oath as Prime Minister for the third time. PM Modi has become the second leader of Indian politics who has taken oath as PM for the third consecutive time. Before this, only the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Nehru had done this feat. The Cabinet comprises 30 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State with independent charge and 36 Ministers of State.

Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) chief Prem Singh Tamang has taken oath as the Chief Minister of the state of Sikkim for the second consecutive time. The 56-year-old politician was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya at a ceremony held at the Paljor Stadium in Gangtok. SKM had won 31 out of 32 seats in the state assembly elections.

Iga Swiatek defeated Jasmine Paolini to win the French Open women's title for the third consecutive time. The 23-year-old from Poland became the first woman to win three consecutive trophies in Paris since Justine Henin from 2005 to 2007. Iga is currently ranked World No. 1 in women's singles by the Women's Tennis Association.

Recently, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has included the Israeli army in the global list of criminals committing crimes against children. According to a diplomatic source, along with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad were also added to the list. Let us tell you that the Hamas-Israel war started on 7 October with a Hamas-led attack on Israel.

A total of 7 women ministers have got place in the new government led by PM Modi. Of which there are 2 cabinet and 5 ministers of state rank. The two cabinet ministers include Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi. Other state ministers include Shobha Karandlaje, Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, Savitri Thakur, Defense Nikhil Khadse and Anupriya Patel.

This time six former chief ministers are included in PM Modi's cabinet. Of these, four former chief ministers are from the Bharatiya Janata Party, while Kumaraswamy represents the Janata Dal-Secular and Manjhi represents the Hindustani Awam Morcha. From BJP, Shivraj Singh Chouhan (MP), Rajnath Singh (UP), Manohar Lal Khattar (Haryana), and Sarbananda Sonowal (Assam) are included.
