India has become the first nation to be awarded Blue Flag certification for all the 8 recommended beaches in a single attempt. India is also the first nation in the "Asia-Pacific” region that has achieved this feat in just about 2 years.

Nobel Prize 2020 in Economic Sciences has been awarded to Paul R Milgrom and Robert B Wilson for improvements to auction theory and inventions of new auction formats.

Bangladesh Cabinet on October 12, 2020 approved a draft law to include the death penalty as the highest punishment for rape. The law amends the Prevention of Women and Children Repression Act-2000.

The Delhi Transport Minister, Kailash Gahlot has informed that the Delhi Government has decided to exempt road tax on the battery-operated vehicles under its new Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy.
