1. (a) Dr. Ajay Mathur

The International Solar Alliance (ISA) elected Dr. Ajay Mathur as its new Director-General. Mathur replaces Upendra Tripathy who have been serving as ISA Director-General since its inception. The ISA was established in 2015.

2. (c) Uttar Pradesh

PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation of Maharaja Suheldev Memorial on February 16, 2021 in Uttar Pradesh virtually. On the same occasion, PM Modi unveiled the projects for beautification of Shravasti, Chittaura Lake, and Bahraich.

3. (a) INS Karanj

The Indian Navy which commission its third Scorpene Submarine as INS Karanj in March 2021. Indian received this third Scorpene Submarine under the Project P-75 on February 15, 2021.

4. (b) Rajnath Singh

The e-Chhawani portal was launched on February 16, 2021 by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to offer services to more than 20 lakh citizens who are living in the cantonment boards across India.

5. (a) Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala

Nigerian Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala has took over the position of next Chief of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The Former Nigerian Finance Minister will hold the position from March 1, 2021 till August 31, 2025.

6. (d) NS Vishwanathan

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on February 15, 2021 constituted a committee led by RBI Deputy Governor NS Vishwanathan to strengthen the urban co-operative banks. The Committee will have 8 members.

7. (a)Tamil Nadu

The Tata Electronics signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tamil Nadu to establish its facility for manufacturing mobile components. This project will cost Rs 4684 crores.
