Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in Rohini, New Delhi on January 5, 2025. This new facility, which will cover an area of 2.92 acres, is being built at a cost of around ₹187 crore. Its aim is to advance research and health care in Ayurveda.

The Panchayat Se Parliament 2.0 initiative was inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on January 6, 2025. The programme aims to empower 502 elected women representatives of Scheduled Tribes in 22 states and union territories of India.
