Answers

1. (a) 54

The Indian Government will ban 54 more Chinese apps that pose a threat to India's security. This was informed by the ministry of electronics and information on February 14, 2022. The new Chinese app ban list includes apps like Beauty Camera, Dual Space Lite, Viva Video, Garena Free Fire, Sweet Selfie HD,  Tencent Xriver, Isoland 2: Ashes of Time Lite, Equalizer & Bass Booster and AppLock.

2. (d) Germany 

Frank-Walter Steinmeier was re-elected as Germany's president on February 13, 2022. He won the second term after a special assembly voted for the veteran politician. He won 77 percent of support.

3. (a) Sarojini Naidu

Indian National Women's Day is observed every year on February 13, 2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sarojini Naidu, an Indian political activist and poet, also known as Nightingale of India.

World Radio Day is observed every year on February 13 to underline the importance of radio in today's world. The World Radio Day 2022 Theme is ' Radio and Trust.' 

5. (c) Turkish Airlines

Tata Sons announced on February 14, 2022 that Ilker Ayci has been appointed as the new CEO and MD of Air India. Ilker Ayci was previously serving as the Chairman of Turkish Airlines and was on the board of the company before that.

A total of 10 players were bought for Rs 10 crore or more in IPL Mega Auction 2022 with Ishan Kishan being the most expensive player with a solid Rs 15.25 crore deal from Mumbai Indians, followed by Deepak Chahar who received Rs 14 crore deal from his former team Chennai Super Kings.
