DCM Shriram Consolidated (DSCL) got environment clearance on 28 June 2011 from the Ministry of Environment and Forests for the Kaprion-Ki-Dhani lignite mining project in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. At present, the mining lease application is now pending with the Rajasthan government. DSCL has already acquired more than 60 percent of the land requirement.
