Tatpar app: Delhi Police has launched Tatpar app to provide safety and a convenient 24x7 online mode to its citizens. The app was launched by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on September 18, 2019.

Developed by Delhi Police, Tatpar app is a one-stop destination for access to over 50 citizen-centric services. The newly-integrated one-touch mobile app brings together all the websites and mobile applications of the Delhi Police and over 50 services. These services can now be accessed with a single touch in the app.

In the past three years, various units of the Delhi Police had developed web and mobile-based applications to facilitate the delivery of citizen-centric services. However, the applications had to be installed separately by the user and to access the web-based service delivery portals, the correct URL had to be remembered.

The Tatpar app eliminates all these issues by bringing all the services on one single platform. The app will help citizens navigate to their nearest police station, traffic pit and prepaid taxi booth. The user can retrieve the complete contact details of the concerned Station House Officer (SHO) of a police station with just a single touch.

Tatpar app SOS button

The Tatpar app has an SOS button, which is provided on the home screen, for urgent assistance. The SOS button will enable the user to call an emergency contact number (SOS) of their choice or reach out to their nearest Police Control Room (PCR) at 100 with a single touch.

The app is ready for launch on android phones. The app can be downloaded on mobile phones from Play Store. The iOS and bilingual versions of the app are currently under development and will be released for public use soon.

Tatpar app: Key Features

The app has been designed especially for the citizens of Delhi. People can contact the police through the app and share information about any suspicious vehicle, person or crime.

The app will also help people find their nearest police stations and prepaid taxi booth.

The app will also facilitate online eFIR registration, motor vehicle theft e-FIR registration, traffic services, missing person services and facilities for senior citizens.

The app’s SOS button will help the user connect with his/ her emergency contact or the police control room with a single touch.

Delhiites can also pay traffic challans through the app or report missing or stolen mobile phones, searching for stolen vehicles, apply for police clearances, domestic help verification and check complaint status.
