Engineering company KEC International announced on 27 December 2010 that it bagged orders worth Rs 1018 crore and hence raised its order book to Rs 7400 crore. The orders include three transmission projects adding to Rs 540 crore, from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam, Power Grid Corporation of India and South Africa's Eskom. KEC International also bagged a Rs 97-crore order from Indian Railways and KEC’s cable division won orders worth Rs 135 crore. While the subsidiary of KEC International, SAE Towers won orders worth Rs 246 crore.
