Ernst & Young Awards for 2010

Ernst & Young in February 2011 announced the Ernst & Young Awards for 2010. Ernst & Young gives away business awards to entrepreneurs annually. Dilip Shanghvi, Chairman and Managing Director of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year 2010. Shanghvi will represent India at the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Monte Carlo in June 2011. Shanghvi has the distinction of having won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award in the Healthcare and Life Sciences category in 2005.

The life-time achievement award of 2010 was given to Brijmohan Lall Munjal, Chairman and Whole-Time Director of Hero Honda Motors.

Sridhar, Managing Director of Shriram Transport Finance Company, and Manufacturing: Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman of Tractors and Farm Equipment.
