Rating Agency Fitch rated India’s Sovereign Rating in its negative status.
The Rating Agency Fitch released its latest outlook on India’s Sovereign Rating on 8 January 2013 and maintained the negative status for India. The negative rating came out of the concerns over the inflammatory pressures, slow economic growth and uncertain fiscal outlook.
Moody’s and Standard and Poor are the other two agencies along with Fitch that has rated India into its negative category of the sovereign rating outlook. There are prospects of shifting India in the junk grade in case the economic slowdown and fundamentals doesn’t improve in next few months.
