Hindustan Unilever (HUL) on 28 June 2012 launched Pureit Advanced water purifier to provide safe and clean drinking water to consumes, the water is as safe as boiled water. HUL claimed Pureit Advanced is the only the purifier in India that will purify water twice. It costs about 900 to 13000 rupees to aim in every section of consumers.

As per the process, the water will pass though micro-charged membrane that guarantees double protection by providing clear, odourless and natural taste water.

It is estimated that there is12877crore rupees bottled water market in India which is growing at 19 percent.

HUL is also test-marketing After Wash Laundry Brand Magic

HUL is test-marketing after wash laundry brand Magic that will reduce the water usage in washing clothes by two-third. It will be the first product emerges in India for washing apparels.

It will become the second brand launched by HUL in the last seven years ago, the first being water purifier was Pureit launched in 2005.

The HUL parent company Unilever had already launched the dry shampoo that did not need water, a hair conditioner that does not need to be washed away, detergents that clean at room temperatures.
