ICC Women's World Cup 2022
India will begin its campaign at the ICC Women's World Cup 2022 against arch-rivals Pakistan on March 6th. The ICC Women's World Cup final will be played on April 3rd. The ICC Women's World Cup 2022 will see 8 teams competing against each other to win the trophy. The eight teams include- New Zealand, Australia, India, England, South Africa, Pakistan, West Indies and Bangladesh.
While Australia has been the most successful women's cricket team with top rank in all three ICC formats, the third-ranked India is one of the favourites as well to win the ICC Women's World Cup 2022. India had put up an exceptional performance against Australia in the recently concluded Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), in which Harmanpreet Kaur was named Player of the Tournament, becoming the third international player to win the title and Smriti Mandhana recording the highest individual score, equalling with Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner.
