1st Match: The match was played in Dharmasala, Himachal Pradesh on 16 October 2016. India won by 6 wickets (with 101 balls remaining). Hardik Pandya (India), who played his debut ODI match on the day, was adjudged as the Man of the Match.

2nd Match: The match was played in Delhi on 20 October 2016. New Zealand won by 6 runs. Kane Williamson (New Zealand) was adjudged as the Man of the Match.

3rd Match: The match was played at Mohali, Chandigarh on 26 October 2016. India won by 7 wickets. Virat Kohli (India) was adjudged as the Man of the Match.

4th Match: The match was played at Ranchi, Jharkhand on 26 October 2016. New Zealand won by 19 runs. Martin Guptill (New Zealand) was adjudged as the Man of the Match.

5th Match: The match was played at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on 29 October 2016. India won by 190 wickets. Amit Mishra (India) was adjudged as the Man of the Match.

Indian team’s jersey in the fifth and final ODI match was the most important highlight of the five-match ODI series. In a gesture of respect towards women, the Indian cricketers were wearing their mother’s names on the back of their jerseys.
