India on 26 March 2014 clinched the 3rd South Asian Handball Championship title played at Genesis Global School in Noida. To win the title, India defeated Pakistan 36-31. The championship started on 23 March 2014.

About Handball Federation of India
The Handball Federation of India is a permanent organization of Patriotic and Natural Character devoted to physical and cultural education of the youth of India. It is independent, and autonomous and free from political, religious and/or communal influence.
The federation is affiliated to International Handball Federation, Asian Handball Federation, Commonwealth Handball Federation and Indian Olympic Association.

Location of the office of the Federation: Office of the Federation at present is at the place of residence of the Secretary General. The location of the office will be the residence place till a permanent office will be created at Delhi.
The Federation Flag colour is Sky blue with the Federation crest in the center.
