TATA IPL 2022 Mega Auction: The Day 2 of IPL 2022 Mega Auction is here after a dramatic eye-grabbing Day 1 that saw Ishan Kishan clinching the highest bid of Rs 15.25 crore from Mumbai Indians and CSK offering Rs 14 crore figure to retain Deepak Chahar.
The other two players who received the top bids include Shreyas Iyer who got a staggering Rs 12.25 crore deal from Kolkata Knight Riders and Shardul Thakur who received Rs 10,75 crore from Delhi Capitals. These two players along with Ishan Kishan and Deepak Chahar were top four picks of IPL 2022 Mega Auction Day 1.
The Mega IPL Auction 2022 is witnessing a bidding war between the 10 major teams. The franchises have not hesitated in loosening their purses for picking up well-performing Indian players. The two-day IPL 2022 Auction for 15th Season of the T20 Tournament is underway . It was scheduled to be held on 12th and 13th February – Saturday and Sunday. The Two day Auction event will see auction of 590 players shortlisted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The day 2 of IPL Auction 2022 began at 12 PM in the afternoon.
