Punj Lloyd announced on 28 December 2010 that it bagged a contract for construction of two commercial buildings in a township, Hiranandani Palace Gardens being developed by the Hirco Group at its Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Panvel, Maharashtra. According to the contract Punj Lloyd will construct two commercial buildings and a podium, the total of which will add up to a built-up area of about 2 million sq. ft. Hiranandani Palace Gardens is a mixed-use township project and will comprise world-class residential complexes, offices, educational institutions and healthcare facilities once complete.
Punj Lioyd has built some of the tallest buildings in major cities across the world, including the Tianjin International Building and The Exchange and Yangtze Plaza in China and the German Centre for Industry & Trade in Singapore.
