Sachin Tendulkar, Indian batting legend and Steve Waugh, former Australian cricket captain entered Bradman Hall of Fame on 29 October 2014. The cricketers were inducted as the 2014 Bradman Honourees at a gala dinner held at the historic Sydney Cricket Ground.

Bradman once identified that Tendulkar’s technique reminded him of his own. Apart from this, he also listed Tendulkar’s name in an all-time XI that was prepared by the batting genius himself.

Tendulkar had the honour of meeting Bradman on his 90th birthday in 1998 at his Adelaide home.
