Sri Lankan cricketer, Tillakaratne Dilshan and fellow opener Upul Tharanga together on 10 March 2011 cracked a record 282 for the opening wicket in world cup cricket history. Dilshan then took four wickets in four overs. Dilshan’s off-spin helped his team win a crushing 139-run win over a hapless Zimbabwe in their World Cup Group A game.
Tillakaratne Dilshan made 144 runs while Upul Tharanga was equally good scoring his career-best 133.
