Kerala’s health minister K K Shylaja confirmed that the youth was infected with Nipah virus, after Pune-based National Institute of Virology, which tested the man's blood samples and confirmed the presence of the virus. The youth studied in a college in Thodupuzha in Idukki and had stayed in Thrissur recently. He was hospitalized with a high fever in Kochi 10 days ago.

The Antonov AN-32 aircraft took off at 12:27 pm for a remote military landing strip in Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh but lost signal within minutes.
3. ICC World Cup 2019: Team India's alternate orange jersey revealed!
Team India has reportedly revealed its new alternate jersey for its ‘away matches’ against England and Afghanistan during the Cricket World Cup 2019.The new Indian jersey kit, as reported before is dominated by orange colour rather than the original blue. The picture of the proposed 'away' jersey has reportedly been provided by IANS. The BCCI is yet to officially confirm it. Among the other nations that were required to have alternate jerseys, except India all others including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa revealed their 'away' jerseys prior to the tournament.

Nandan Nilekani committee has given some suggestions to promote digital payments in India. Nilekani panel suggested that RTGS and NEFT facility should be available 24x7. Also, it recommends duty free import of point of sales machines. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was appointed this committee last month and it had submitted its recommendations to Governor Shaktikanta Das.
