The features that make it different than a normal train are that there is a railway engine on both ends of the train along with automated sliding doors just like a metro train. Additionally, there is no reservation system on the train. Passengers can buy the tickets and travel even at the last minute of train departure.

Namo Bharat Rapid Rail: Special Features

By connecting metropolitan centers with surrounding areas, the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will span inter-city destinations, unlike traditional metros that run between urban stations. Unlike urban metro services, it serves a wider range of travel needs.

With seating for 1,150 people, the train can accommodate up to 2,058 standing passengers. The train offers air-conditioned coaches and sofas with cushions for seating.
