Delhi CM Oath News: The excitement surrounding the party's top nominee is expected to cease in a few days as the Bharatiya Janata Party selects the next chief minister of Delhi following a landslide victory in the assembly elections. According to a senior BJP official, the party's Delhi unit office on Pant Marg will host a legislative party meeting this week.
Prior to the parliamentary party meeting, senior politicians known as observers will be chosen by the BJP to represent the party's central leadership. Before the CM's name is decided, the observers' job is to speak with the party's MLAs and provide input to the central leadership.

The new Delhi Chief Minister will be announced on February 19. The Chief Minister and Council of Ministers were due to take oaths at Ramlila Maidan on Thursday, February 20, at 4:30 p.m. However, according to sources, the event will take place at the city's Ramlila Maidan on February 20 at 12 p.m.

The oath-taking ceremony for the new cabinet is being discussed to be conducted in Ramlila Maidan. The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and sites along the Yamuna River's banks are further possible choices.
Who is Attending the Delhi CM Oath Ceremony?
A crowd of 12,000 to 16,000 Delhi residents are expected to attend the event. The major event will be attended by the chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of twenty states. Major nations' diplomats have also been invited. It is anticipated that BJP leaders and campaign staff from other states that participated in the Delhi elections will also attend the event.
Over fifty movie stars and businesspeople are anticipated to be present there. Additionally, the celebration will be open to Delhi's common citizens, farmers, and recipients of central government schemes, such as Laadli sisters.
Baba Ramdev, Swami Chidananda, Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri, and other religious leaders will represent the nation's spiritual leaders.
Who Will Be Delhi's New CM?
Several names are being considered for the position of Delhi's Chief Minister, with Parvesh Verma being the most prominent. He gained attention after defeating Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP national convenor and former Delhi CM, from the New Delhi seat.
Another strong contender is Satish Upadhyay, who has served as the Delhi BJP president and also led the Delhi Youth Wing.
Ashish Sood is also in the race for the CM position, along with Jitendra Mahajan and Vijender Gupta, both seen as potential candidates.
If the party decides to choose a female leader, Rekha Gupta, a former Delhi Mayor and first-time MLA, could be a possible choice.
Dark Horse: According to many in the party, the BJP leadership may choose a "dark horse" or less well-known candidate from among the recently elected MLAs, as has been the case in Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.
