Former President and Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee died on 31 August, 2020 (Monday). He was tested positive for Coronavirus and had been in coma after a brain surgery earlier this month. His condition on Monday declined and had gone into septic shock due to lung infection at the Army's Research Referral Hospital.
