Madhya Pradesh: Literacy Rate as per Census 2011

Madhya Pradesh’s literacy rate has witnessed aloft tendency and it was 69.32 % as per Census 2011. The male literacy rate was 78.73 % however the female literacy was 54.49 %.

Madhya Pradesh’s literacy rate has witnessed aloft tendency and it was 69.32 % as per Census 2011. The male literacy rate was 78.73 % however the female literacy was 54.49 %.

 

In the year 2001, Madhya Pradesh’s literacy rate was 63.74 % out of which the male literacy stood at 75.35 % and female literacy at 54.61 %.

 

The total number of literates in Madhya Pradesh stood at 42,851,169 out of which the males were 25,174,328 however the females were 17,676,841.
