National Lok Adalat for settling pending Compoundable Traffic Challans/Notices to be held on 8th March, 2025 (Saturday) at all Court Complexes, Delhi from 10 am to 4 pm.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Download Challans:
    • Visit the Delhi Traffic Police website: 
    • The link is activated on March 3, 2025, at 10 AM
    • A total of 1,80,000 challans/notices will be processed
  2. Print the Challans:
    • Carry a printout of the downloaded challan/notice to the Lok Adalat
    • No printout facility will be available at court premises
  3. Visit the Designated Court:

    • As per the court number mentioned in the challan printout
    • Attend the hearing at the allotted time slot
  4. Get Challan Settled:
    • Pay the settled amount as per the decision of the Lok Adalat bench

Important Guidelines

  • Only compoundable offences can be settled at Lok Adalat.
  • Non-compoundable/cognisable offences (heinous crimes) must go through regular court proceedings.
  • Traffic notices/challans allowed per vehicle:
    • Private Vehicles: 5 notices + 2 challans
    • Commercial Vehicles: 2 notices/challans

  • 1,000 challans/notices per bench in 180 Lok Adalat benches
  • A total of 1,80,000 challans/notices will be settled on March 8, 2025
