Papua New Guinea Squad for T20 World Cup 2024 USA: Assad Vala once again captains Papua New Guinea, echoing his leadership from the 2021 tournament. The team secured their place in this year’s competition by triumphing in the East Asia-Pacific regional final in July 2023. Vala is joined by nine other players from the 2021 squad, with Jack Gardner, previously a reserve, now included in the 15-player roster. Leg-spinning all-rounder CJ Amini has been appointed as the vice-captain to support Vala.

NOTE: The deadline of May 25th allows all participating teams in the T20 World Cup to change their squads freely. After this date, any alterations to the squad will necessitate approval from the ICC's Event Technical Committee. This deadline ensures clarity and stability in team compositions leading up to the tournament, while also allowing for flexibility in case of unforeseen circumstances such as injuries or changes in form. Boards must carefully evaluate their squads and make any necessary adjustments before the deadline to ensure they have the best possible lineup for the T20 World Cup.
