The Indian women's cricket team secured their second consecutive win in the Women's Asia Cup 2024, defeating the UAE team by 78 runs on July 21, 2024. With this victory, India moves closer to the semi-final berth, topping their group with four points. Richa Ghosh and Harmanpreet Kaur played crucial roles, with Ghosh being awarded Player of the Match, as India dominated the game, scoring 201/5 in 20 overs, while UAE scored 123/7 in 20 overs.
