What Happens After You Clear AISSEE?
After clearing the AISSEE, students must go through a few more steps before taking admission to a Sainik School. First, shortlisted candidates are invited for a medical examination to ensure they meet the required health standards. This medical test is conducted at designated centres and assesses both physical and mental fitness.
Following the medical examination, the final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the written test and medical evaluation. Seats are then allocated according to the school’s availability and the student’s rank.
Once admitted, students join the school and begin their training in academics, leadership, and discipline. The curriculum is designed to prepare them for a career in the Armed Forces, especially the National Defence Academy (NDA). Sainik Schools also focus on personality development and physical fitness, helping students grow into responsible and confident individuals.
