Aligarh Muslim University conducted its placement drive for the different programmes offered by the university. The placement drive was conducted by the Training and Placement Office-General. The university saw top companies including emirates Airlines, EFS Technologies, National Institute of Smart Government, Ango Zara International, Jara Technologies, Hexa View, JK Technologies, Acxiom Consulting, and Piramal Education Foundation.
The companies have hired over 150 graduates from the university pursuing different courses.
Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer- General said that the students who have been placed belong to the humanities, computer science, social science, agricultural business, management, engineering, and physical education programmes. Assistant Training and Placement Officer-General Jahangir Alam said that the highest salary offered in the placement drive conducted was Rs. 15 lakhs per annum.
The Training and Placement officers of the university have also said that more placement drives will be conducted as companies like Azim Premji Foundation, Chegg India, Cocentrix and Talent Recruit are also keen on recruiting students from Aligarh Muslim University.
UP CM interacts with Kashmiri Students at AMU
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met a group of Kashmiri students at AMU and talked about the importance of dialogue in a democracy. The CM also urged the students to share their problems directly to him in order to form them to be resolved. The Chief Minister said that we live in a democratic society and it must be kept in mind that talking could be the most important medium in it. He also added that efforts have to be made keeping the possibility of a dialogue in mind.
The chief minister also took the opportunity to exhort the students to clear their doubts also adding to keep the interactions to themselves.
