
The Board of Secondary Education, Assam has asked the institutions in the state to grant admission to the students to class 11 by considering the digital High School Leaving Certificate Examination mark sheets to be released by the board. According to reports, the SEBA is expected to release the Class 10 Assam Board Results by June 6, 2020.
As per data, over 3 lakh students have appeared in the HSLC 2020 exam in Assam this year. The board has decided to provide digital mark sheets for the admissions to the higher education courses made by the board in order to maintain social distancing and keep in mind the ongoing CVID-19 pandemic.
According to a statement released by SEBA, all the educational institutions will arrange for the admissions for the students to class 11 based on the digital mark sheets after the verification of the results are conducted through the Result Gazette.
The Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a recent press conference had made the announcement regarding the decision to introduce digital mark sheets. The education minister also said that the hard copies of the mark sheets will be distributed once the COVID-19 situation improves in the state.
The Assam High Madrassa Examination will also be declared on June 6, 2020, by 9 AM. The board has informed that the examination results will be declared through the Result Gazette in the PDF format. The result will include the roll numbers of the candidates and the qualifying status of the students. Candidates will be able to check their results by entering their roll number and registration number in the result link available on the websites - results.sebaonline.org, resultsassam.nic.in.
