
JNTUH Semester Exam 2020 Datesheet Released: As per the latest update, JNTUH i.e. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, has formally released the Semester Exam Datesheet for its students. Along with JNTUH Datesheet, the varsity has also released a detailed list of guidelines to ensure safe conduct of examination amid the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. As per the official notification, the varsity has announced the detailed exam timetable for both undergraduate and well as postgraduate students. JNTUH Semester Exam 2020 Dates
According to the datesheet released by the varsity, the semester exams at the university will start off with exams for Fourth Year, 2nd Semester students, which will begin on 20th June 2020This will be followed by B.Tech and B.Pharm 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year – Event Semester Exams which will begin on 16th July 2020. Supplementary Exams for Odd Semester Students will be held from 3rd August 2020. The exam dates for all the semester is provided in the table below:

Highlights About Exam Pattern
Along with the exam dates, JNTUH has also notified the examination pattern that will be followed for the semester exams being held this year. All the exams or papers for Semester Exams 2020 will be of two hours duration. As part of the examination, students will be required to answer any five out of the total eight questions mentioned in the question paper. The earlier introduced compulsory section with short answers has been done away with for the upcoming semester exams.
Key Guidelines
To ensure complete safety, health and well-being of the students, the university has also come up with a detailed set of guidelines that all colleges will have to follow as part of the examination process. The key among them are listed below:
- Seating Arrangement: As part of the social distancing norms, the seating arrangement for JNTUH Semester Exam 2020 has been tweaked. Now, Only 1 person per bench and in successive benches in zig-zag manner.
- No Detention Policy: JNTUH will not allow any credit based detentions for Academic Year 2020-21.
- Exam at Parent Colleges: Unlike previous exams, when exam centres for students were allotted at independent colleges; for 2020 session, the semester exams will be held at the respective parent colleges of the students.
- Advance Supplementary Exams: The University will hold advanced supplementary exams for students, who are unable to appear for B.Tech / B.Pharm Semester Exams held right now, due to movement restrictions placed in light of Coronavirus pandemic. The advanced supplementary exams will be held within 45 days of the conduct of the regular exams.
- Masks and Hand sanitizers Compulsory: Students entering the exam hall will have to compulsorily wear masks within the exam centre premises. Moreover, students will be provided hand sanitizers to ensure they remain free of any kind of infection.
- Thermal Screening: Before entering the college / exam centre premises, students will have to undergo a thermal screening and students found with symptoms will not be allowed to appear for exams.
