Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE) commenced the Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024 today, February 20, 2024. The examination will conclude on March 4, 2024. The duration of the Class 10 Board Exam 2024 is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024 will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift will begin from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Meanwhile, the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Students appearing for the Class 10 Board Exam will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes to solve the question paper. Candidates must note that they will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper before the commencement of the examination.
According to the latest findings, the Odisha government stated that the Class 10 dropout rate was 27% in the academic year 2021-22. Moreover, the overall dropout got reduced to 17% in the academic session 2022-23.
BSE Odisha Board Exam 2024: Surveillance Enhanced
As per the latest data, about 5,51,611 students will appear for the Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024. To prevent cheating during the examination, the state government has installed AI-powered cameras in exam centres. High-quality CCTV cameras are installed in the DEO office and the examination hall. The authorities have also set up a command room with 7-8 persons for the operation of the AI cameras.
