For 2021 session, the board has declared Class 10 / Secondary Results on the basis of internal assessment due to COVID-19 pandemic. Result Based on Alternative Assessment Criteria

For 2021 session, the Chhattisgarh Board had decided to cancel the CGBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2021 and instead announced promotion of students on the basis of an objective criterion. The exam was cancelled due to the devastating 2^nd Wave of COVID-19 which is still underway with nearly new 3 lakh cases being added to the tally every day. The alternative criteria for assessment announced by Chhattisgarh Board says that Class 10 students would be marked on the basis of assignments.

The official statement issued by CGBSE Board Secretary Mr VK Goyal in this regards read “Students who have not achieved the minimum marks required or their assignment work is still pending, such students will be awarded passing marks. If a student is not satisfied with the marks given, they will be provided with an opportunity to appear for the board exams when COVID-19 situation improves.”
