GATE 2022 Registration Date Postponed, Application Process to Begin from 2nd Sept at gate.iitkgp.ac.in

GATE 2022 Application Date Postponed: As per the latest update, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagur has decided to postpone the application and registration date for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2022 Exam until 2nd Sept 2021. Candidates should also note that the last date to fill the application form is 24th Sept 2021. Earlier, GATE 2022 registration was scheduled to begin today, on 30th August 2021, however, the same has been deferred or postponed by a few days as per the latest update. From 2nd Sept onwards, PG aspirants who want to join MTech programmes offered at IITs, NITs and other premier technology institutes can register for GATE 2022 Exam online via GOAPS Portal @ gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Documents Required to Register for GATE 2022 Exam

For those candidates who are planning to register for GATE 2022 exam, it is important for candidates to know and understand the complete process. As part of the online registration process, candidates will need to upload or provide some important documents or information from these documents in the application form. The list of documents required to complete GATE 2022 application is provided below:

• Eligibility Details: Candidates will need to provide proof that they meet the eligibility criteria set by the exam authority
• Photographs: Candidates will have to provide their high-quality scanned photographs
• Govt Issued ID Card: Upload at least one valid identity document such as Aadahar Card, Pan Card or Voter Id card
• Personal Details: Candidates will need to provide basic personal details name, mail address, date of birth, address. Candidates also have to provide their College name and address.
• Category Certificate: Candidates belonging to reserved category, need to upload a scanned copy of their SC or ST certificate
• Online Fee Payment: Candidates can pay the fee online via net banking or debit or credit card.
