Haryana state government has extended the summer vacation in the schools in the state until June 30, 2021. Earlier the state had ordered for the closure of the schools until June 15, 2021 but the state government has decided to extend the summer vacation considering the COVID-19 situation.
Haryana Board exams cancelled
The state government has cancelled the Haryana board class 12 examinations which were announced shortly after the CBSE announced the cancellation of the class 12 CBSE board examinations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal while speaking to the media stated that the government has decided to cancel the class 12 Haryana board exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The minister stated that the government is going ahead with the decision taken by the Centre to cancel the CBSE board exams.
The state will be compiling the results of the class 12 students based on the evaluation criteria which will be decided by the board soon. The Evaluation criteria will b released on the official website of the board.
The Haryana Board class 10 results have been announced by the board officials. The class 10 Haryana board exams were cancelled by the board due to the pandemic.
Assam School Summer vacations extended
The Assam state government has also announced the extension of the summer vacations in the schools in the state due to the pandemic. The government has also ordered that in order to continue the learning process the school authorities need to take steps to conduct the online classes.
