IGNOU Term End Exam 2020 Application Date Extended: With the COVID-19 pandemic situation getting serious across the country, IGNOU – the national open university, has extended the date for IGNOU June TEE 2020 Exam application form and Assignment submission for students who are due to appear for the Term End Exam 2020. Candidates who are to appear for IGNOU TEE 2020 Exam can now submit their online application forms along with the assignments until 15th July 2020 via digital platforms. To confirm the extension in the application and assignment submission dates, IGNOU released an official notification on its website ignou.ac.in. Re-registration Date Extended

Earlier in the day, IGNOU also announced extension in the deadline for re-registration date for the existing students who are due to the same. Candidates who are to re-register themselves for the next semester can now complete the registration and application process online until 31^st July 2020 by logging onto Samarth Portal of IGNOU. Samarth Portal was launched by IGNOU earlier in the year, a single window for learners to track all their academic activities related to their students life at IGNOU. The portal can be reached at ignou.samarrth.edu.in.

Online Submission of Assignments Allowed

Taking into account the hardships faced by the students due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the lockdowns and restrictions announced to curb it, the varsity has allowed students to submit their assignments and project work via online digital platforms. The University has started a dedicated online portal using which candidates can submit their assignments online from the safety of their homes. However, in order to avail this option, students need to obtain digitally approval in prescribed proforma of the Guide/Supervisor through e-mail before submitting the project through online platforms.
