IIT Kanpur Alumni Prateek Shukla: IIT has been a name that produces the students of greta character and they have the qualities that are highly appreciated in the society. The students of IIT have been phenomenal in shaping the society and they have given directions. Many of them have created history and many of them have been a part of the history. That is why they have been praised. In a recent development, one of the alumni of IIT named Prateek Shukla has built a coding school in Bengaluru. The school has been in limelight as its students are enrolled for free. The school also provides a free personality development and soft skills coaching.

IIT Kanpur alumni Prateek Shukla offers coding-centric learning programmes to train learners into skilled coding professionals. The aim of the school is to train over 500 students in coding in a year. The school of the IIT alumni is seed-funded and it is a career-focused startup named as Masai School. The newly founded school has started its operation from July 1, 2019 in Bengaluru. Prateek Shukla has also been the co-founder of home rental startup Grabhouse. From the Masai School, the learners are offered coding-centric learning programmes which are designed to train and mould learners into skilled professionals for the future.

The founder of the school said, "Our courses are based on a coding-only curriculum and are designed according to current industry requirements. At Masai, our students are given the experience of working in a corporate set up along with mastering their coding skills for 10-12 hours a day." It is interesting to note that the learners are enrolled for free. However, they are allowed to pay the course fee at a later date, if they bag a suitable job. The students who want to take admission in the school, need to sign an income-share agreement. After getting a job with a package of 6 lakh per annum or more, students would have to pay 15 percent of their income for the first three years. If a student gets a package of less than Rs 6 lakh, they would not have to pay anything.
