JELET 2024 Exam Registration: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) 2024 will commence the registration process for the Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test (JELET) today, February 8, 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in to fill out the application form. The last date to register for the entrance exam is March 11, 2024. The application correction window will be online from March 13, 2024. JELET 2024 admit cards will be issued tentatively on June 21, 2024.
The application form correction window will open from March 13 to March 15, 2024. Applicants can make modifications to their forms by entering the correct details. Candidates cannot make any corrections once the revision window closes. The JELET 2024 examination is scheduled to take place on June 29, 2024. JELET 2024 Exam: Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for JELET 2024 to appear for the exam scheduled on June 29, 2024.
- Diploma holders seeking admission in engineering and technology degree courses must have passed a minimum of three or two years (lateral entry) diploma examination with at least 45% marks. Candidates belonging to the reserved category must have scored 40% marks in any branch of engineering and technology
- Candidates possessing a BSc degree from a recognized university as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) can also apply for the JELET 2024 exam
- For admission to Jadavpur University, the candidate must secure at least 60% (45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD) marks or equivalent CGPA in the diploma examination. DVoc candidates are not eligible for admission to Jadavpur University through lateral entry
- BSc, BVoc candidates seeking admission into engineering and technology degree courses must pass BSc or BVoc degree from any university recognized by UGC with at least 45% (40% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD) marks
- Diploma holders in pharmacy seeking admission into a degree course in pharmacy must pass a diploma in pharmacy with at least 45% marks. Meanwhile, reserved category candidates must have obtained 40% marks or equivalent CGPA from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India

Steps To Apply For JELET 2024 Exam
Candidates can go through the following steps to complete the JELET 2024 application process once the registration form is released on February 8, 2024.
Step 1: Visit the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Register’ displayed on the home page

JELET 2024 Exam: Application Fee
The application fee for the JELET 2024 exam is Rs 500 for general male candidates and Rs 400 for general female candidates. Male candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and EWS categories will have to pay Rs 400 as the registration fee. Meanwhile, female candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and EWS categories will have to pay Rs 300.
