Karnataka CET 2021 Postponed: KCET To be held now on 28th and 29th August, Get Complete Details Here

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021 has been postponed. As per the new revised dates Karnataka common entrance test 2021 will now be conducted on 28th and 29th August.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021. In the wake of the ongoing second wave coronavirus pandemic, the Karnataka government took this decision. As per the new dates, Karnataka common entrance test will now be conducted on 28th and 29th August. As per the official announcement, " Karnataka postpones common entrance Test, KCET 2021 in the wake of covid second wave and postponement of 2nd PU exams. New dates for KCET is August 28 for bio and maths August 29 for Physics and Chemistry while Kannada language test will be conducted on August 30." 

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021

On 28th August, the Biology paper will be held in the morning shift from 10:30 to 11:50 am. In the afternoon shift - 2:30 to 3:50 pm, the Mathematics paper will be held. On 29th August, the Physics exam will be conducted in the morning shift and Chemistry will be held in the afternoon shift. The government has also postponed the Kannada Language Test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga students. The exam will be conducted on 30th August, instead of 9th July. All four papers will carry 60 marks each. KCET is a pen-and-paper-based test. Also, the details of the exam like the application form, information bulletin, etc will be released on the official website.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance examination. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts KCET for admission into various courses such as undergraduate Engineering, Technology, Yoga and Naturopathy Farm science and Pharma courses in Government/ University/ Private Aided/Private un-aided institutions in Karnataka State. Candidates who have passed or are appearing in the qualifying examination i.e. 2nd PUC/12th standard are eligible to appear for the KCET exam.
