KV Admissions 2021 Registration Begins: As per the official timeline, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will formally commence the admission and registration process for Kendriya Vidyalaya Admissions 2021-22 For Class 1 students from today i.e. 1st April 2021. Parents can register their students for admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools online by logging onto website kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Document Required for Registration Process

With the online registration process for Kendriya Vidyalaya Admissions 2021-22 For Class 1 students starting from today, it is important for parents who are planning to apply, to know the application process and the documents required for the same. To help parents prepare for registration for KVS Admission 2021, the detailed list of documents required are listed below:

  • Age Proof: Parents will need to submit a certificate or proof of age of the child, as part of the online registration process. To fulfil this requirement, certificates from Notified Area Council / Municipality / Municipal Corporation extract about the date of birth from records of Village Panchayat, Military Hospital and service records of Defence personnel can be provided.
  • Proof or Residence: Any government issued document can be used as residence proof
  • Relationship Proof for MPs / PSU employees: For children and grandchildren of Hon’ble Member of Parliament or PSU employees, parents need to provide proof of relationship with either the child or their parents.
  • Relationship Proof for KV Employees: Similarly, for children and grandchildren of KV Employees, parents need to provide relationship proof to either the child or their parents, as per the case.
  • Caste Certificate: Parents need to provide the necessary Caste certificate, wherever applicable, for students belonging to SC, ST, EWS, OBC, BPL. Parents should note that during the registration phase, KVS may accept their caste certificate as proof for the child, but they are required to submit child’s certificate within 3 months from the date of admission.
  • Service Certificate: Service certificate showing number of transfers in the preceeding 7 years, duly signed and stamped by the head of office bearing the name, designation and other relevant particulars in block letters
  • Certificate of retirement for uniformed Defence employees
