The merit list for class 1 students has been released earlier on the respective websites of the KV for which the admission application has been made. The parents must have checked for the names of their kids in the list and they will be ready to get into the admission process.

The process for admission to class 1 was going on from 1 March and it ended on 19 March. The Sangathan has declared the merit list now. This is the first list for the admission process and if the seats go vacant then there will be a second list too. Usually, the second and third list are released after the completion of the admission process based on the release of the first list.

Also, the seats may remain vacant after the release of the first list as some parents don’t get thier kids admitted to the school for some reasons. This leads to the release of the second list. If the seats go vacant after the release of the second list, then there will be a third list for the admission. The second list will be released on 9 April and the third list will be released on 23 April. If the students in the first list take admission and no seat is left vacant then there no second and third list will be released.

The admission process will start within 10 days after the declaration of the merit list. This year there are more than 1 lakh seats for the admission and the KVS has received 7,95,121 applications in total which is greater then that of the last year. There are a total of 1202 KV in the country right now. The merit list is available on the official website of the respective KVs. The merit list is available in different categories like single girl child, EWS quota, RTE quota etc. As per the officials of the Sangathan, the list will also be displayed on the notice board of the schools.
