Good Wishes from Kerala Education Minister

Prior to the declaration of SSLC Result 2019, the Kerala State Education Minister C Raveendranath has wished Good Luck to all the students. The minister took to Facebook and shared his good wishes with the students for the upcoming SSLC Results 2019.

Number of Students for SSLC Exam 2019

According to the official numbers shared by the Kerala Board, a total of 4.34 lakh students have appeared for the SSLC Exam 2019. Of this total number, 212615 i.e. 49% were girls while the rest are male students. Even last year, the total number of students for SSLC Exam was 4.41 lakh out of which 2.16 lakh were female candidates.

Check SSLC Result via SMS

For those students, who do not have internet connectivity, or those who are unable to check the results online on the website, the Board has also provided the facility to check the results via SMS. To check Kerala 10^th Result 2019 through SMS Service, students can follow the simple steps provided below:

• Step 3: Send it to 56263

In response, you will receive your SSLC Result in the form of an SMS. The result will contain your status i.e. Pass or Fail and the subject-wise marks for each of the subjects.

Result Time Changed

Earlier, media reports claimed that the SSLC Result 2019 of Kerala Board will be declared at 2:30 PM. The Result has been preponed now and will be declared at 2 PM. Soon after the official declaration, Kerala 10^th Result 2019 will be made available to the students online on various websites of the Board.

With the clock ticking towards the declaration time for SSLC Result 2019, students who are expecting their results are also feeling the pressure of the upcoming results. Students who are under the stress of the upcoming results are advised to exercise patience and stay calm. Details of Last Year’s SSLC Result 2019

Last year, a total of 441,482 students had appeared for the Class 10 / SSLC Exam of Kerala Board. Keeping up the annual tradition, 97.84% i.e., 431,162 students managed to pass the exam with flying colours. In terms of district-wise performance, Ernakulam emerged at top with 99.12% success ratio followed by Wayanad with 93.87% pass percentage.

Result to be declared in Press Meet

As per the latest update coming from Kerala Board, the SSLC Result 2019 will be declared soon by the General Education Secretary of Kerala Government Mr A Shahjahan. Mr. Shahjahan will address a press conference in which the Class 10 Result 2019 will be declared. Earlier, media reports claimed that State Education Minister Prof. C Raveendranath will formally declare the result.

Kerala SSLC Exam Dates

The SSLC Board Exams for Kerala Board 10^th Class students commenced on 13^th March and the last paper was held on 28^th March 2019. The exam was held at 2,923 centres in the State whereas 9 exam centres, each, were organized in Lakshadweep and Gulf countries.

Evaluation of Answer Sheets

Soon after the completion of the Board Exams, the Kerala Board started the evaluation work of the answer sheets. In line with this, the government had setup 54 centralised camps for evaluation work of the answer sheets of nearly 4.35 lakh students. The evaluation work started on 5^th April and concluded on 2^nd May, after cross verification of the result data and marks of the students. Now, within next 4 days, the Board has decided to announce the results.

The Kerala Education Department has informed that in line with the annual trend, the result will be made available to the students after formal declaration. The Department has scheduled a press meet at 2 PM, in which Education Minister will unveil the results. 4.35 Lakh Students to get SSLC Results

According to the official press release of the Kerala Education Department, the SSLC result will be declared today for nearly 4.35 lakh students from Kerala. The Class 10 Result is an important landmark in the academic journey of the students, as after this they get to decide the stream and career they want to pursue.
