Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has extended the last date of registration for the common entrance test (CET). Now, students can apply till 2nd August in online mode. They can log in to the official website of board mahahsscboard.in once the forms get released. However, this exam will be optional for students of the State board. The CET will be conducted on 21st August 2021. This year for admissions to class 11, MSBSHSE is conducting this CET for the students.

How To Apply for Maharashtra CET 2021?

The board is all set to conduct the Common Entrance Test for admissions to first-year junior college. To appear for CET, candidates will have to fill up the form in online mode. They can go through the steps required to fill in the Maharashtra CET 2021 application form -

• Step 1 - Go to the official website - cet-mh-ssc.ac.in.
• Step 2 - A new page will appear on the screen. Select ‘Board Type’ from the drop-down menu.
• Step 3 - Fill all the details required to register such as name, contact number, date of birth, address, and medium of instruction.
• Step 4 - Select details of the examination centre by selecting district and taluka.
• Step 5 - Upload photo, signature, ID proof and handicap proof if any and submit it.
• Step 6 - Take a print of the submitted Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021 application form any future reference.

Also, it should be noted that the Maharashtra Common EntracenTest for 11th admission site was down for the last couple of days. According to officials, the site has re-opened from 3 pm on 26th July 2021.

Maharashtra CET 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for the CET will be based on the SSC syllabus. By next week, the authorities will release the subject and chapter-wise details based on which the tests will be conducted. There will be multiple-choice questions in the exam. Maharashtra CET will be held for 100 marks exam and two exams will be taken by the OMR method.

Priority in Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2021

All the students who will take the common entrance test will be given admission based on marks secured in the exam. Also, they will be provided priority during the admission procedure of class 11th. Only after the admission process is completed for students who have given the entrance test, the admission process for other students will start. Those who have not given the relevant examination will get based on marks obtained in class 10th.
