MP School Reopening: As per the updates, primary schools in Madhya Pradesh have reopened for offline classes. As per Bhopal District Education Officer (DEO) Nitin Saxena, Schools were shut since March 24, 2020. Students seemed enthusiastic to be back in class after such a long gap. Those who did not have mobile phones to attend online classes seemed to be more excited." The authorities also mentioned that online classes will continue. Classes 1 to 5 resumed at 50% capacity and classes 8, 10 and 12 can resume at 100% capacity. However, the attendance, despite a cap of 50% of class strength, was low. In the orders by the School Education Department of MP, it is also mentioned that students of class 11 can come for offline teaching and classes would be filled up to 50% capacity.

Madhya Pradesh schools have reopened following all COVID-19 safety protocols. In the orders by the School Education Department of MP, it is also mentioned that students of class 11 can come for offline teaching and classes would be filled up to 50% capacity. Even though Madhya Pradesh has resumed offline teaching, attendance has not been made mandatory. Online classes will continue and nobody will be forced to come to campus. The official order even informs that the consent of the District Disaster Management Committee has to be taken on the proposal to open the schools/hostels/residential schools, operational under the district.
Statement of Viny Raj Modi, vice president of the Association of Unaided Private Schools
As per media updates, Viny Raj Modi said most schools were holding the three-monthly examinations through online mode at present. He further added, "So, such schools were not open from Monday. However, some schools resumed classes. In private schools, only 25 per cent of parents have given consent for the physical presence of their children. They will start coming to schools after completion of the three-monthly examination."

Higher Education Institutes have reopened from 15th September 2021 in Madhya Pradesh. As per the guidelines issued, students have been allowed to attend classes only at 50% capacity, whereas, teaching and non-teaching staff attendance will be 100%.
